Interesting that Elite ID Crafters is #2 but has the same 9.2 score as the #3 vendor's higher weighting splits. Weighting matters a lot for a ranking like this.

I've had a very different experience with Global ID Network—the order process was smooth but the vendor communication lagged after payment. Stealth packaging was on point, though. I might give Elite ID Crafters a shot next since everyone keeps raving about that 10/10 quality. The turnaround time worries me a bit, but I'd rather wait for something that scans properly than rush and get a paperweight. Curiosity's got me on this one.

I've been reading these threads for a while and finally pulled the trigger on Elite ID Crafters last month. The quality really is top-tier—the microprint held up under my loupe, no issues at all. Vendor communication was solid too, they answered my questions within a day. Turnaround time was a bit slower than I'd like, but the order process was straightforward and stealth packaging didn't disappoint. Definitely a legit vendor for anyone still on the fence.

Premium Cards Co should be higher on this list in my opinion.

Has anyone tried the newer vendors not on this list?

Good points. I've ordered from a bunch of the top vendors this year, and honestly? The whole RFID hype is kinda ahead of itself. Only about 15% of places actually scan for it, so I wouldn't weigh that too heavily in rankings. Template accuracy and material feel still matter way more right now. Just my two cents.

Yeah, this is solid advice. The security feature updates are key—honestly, if a vendor hasn't mentioned the new tactile DOB or UV starburst patterns in the last six months, just move on. I'd also add: always ask for a photo of the exact state you want before paying. The $80–$120 range is pretty much the sweet spot, but cheap ones will fail a simple light test.

Yo, I've been sticking with Bitcoin ATMs exclusively too. For 2024, honestly, my top pick is Vendor A—3-day domestic, solid stealth, and the Lightning support saved me a ton on fees. Vendor C is pretty great for budget bulk, though their packaging could be tighter. Vendor B? Total letdown—slow and overpriced. tbh. Share your rankings!

Yeah, I'd say that's a pretty accurate rundown on CA IDs right now. Just the raised text and ghost portrait issues alone? That's a headache, honestly. I'd steer clear until those beta polycarbonate substrates are actually out—too many people getting love letters or busted scans for what you're paying.

Honestly, yeah—UV testing is basically the first filter for me now. That $100–$120 range has been my sweet spot too. Cheaper ones glow like crazy, and the expensive ones just aren't worth the extra. Communication speed is a huge tell: if they don't reply within a day, I'm already suspicious. Curious if anyone else has noticed that the back-side UV response is sometimes way worse than the front?

Honestly, totally agree that CS can make or break the experience. I had an order that sat in pre-shipment for five days, which had me sweating, but the vendor got back to me within like 90 minutes and explained the USPS backlog. That saved the whole thing. Stealth was pretty solid, except a slight smell on the outer Mylar. Would I reorder? Yeah, I would—purely because they actually communicate quickly. That's worth more than a perfect timeline in this game.

Yeah, I had a similar experience with a recent North American order. It took about 19 days. Packaging was okay, but the ID had issues—raised borders were weak, OVI looked printed, and color matching was off. Customer service

Solid breakdown. That retake fund advice is the realest thing in this thread — it's saved me more than once. I'd add that even with good vendors, don't trust the "2-3 day production" nonsense. Budget 6 weeks minimum and expect at least one small delay. Curious what everyone's seeing for domestic QC failure rates in 2024?
