I submitted a support ticket to OldIronSides last week to document the experience, since most of the posts I've found about their support are either very old or very vague. The quick version: the response was solid, not fast.
My issue was a discrepancy between the proof I approved and the card I received — the state on the card matched my order, but the address zone on the back face had a zip code with one wrong digit. I documented it with photos, noted the correct zip code, attached the order number, and submitted through their support form.
First response came after about 52 hours. The message was clearly written by a person rather than an automated system — it referenced my specific issue, asked me to confirm whether the zip code error was also visible in the proof or only in the produced card, and stated that if it was a production error (not present in the approved proof), they would issue a replacement at no charge. That's a well-structured response that moved the resolution forward.
I replied with screenshots showing the correct zip code in the approved proof alongside the error on the card, making the production error clear. That follow-up was acknowledged the next day and the replacement was confirmed. Total time from initial ticket to replacement confirmation: three days, including two round trips of communication.
The replacement arrived eleven days after the confirmation and was correct in every field. Total time from discovering the error to holding a correct card: about fourteen days. That's not a great turnaround, but it's a resolved outcome. OldIronSides honored the warranty, communicated clearly about what they needed to process it, and followed through.
If you're opening a support ticket with them, my suggestion is to include everything they'll need in the first message: order number, clear photos, a precise description of the error, and confirmation of your shipping address. Reducing the back-and-forth cuts the resolution time significantly given their response cadence.
