Anyone tried IDGod lately?
Yeah state matters a lot. Their OH and IL are decent but CA and TX have issues from what I've seen

I ordered from them last month and honestly was disappointed. The holos were off and the colors didn't match my friend's real ID.
Might want to check out some other vendors tbh

Really? That's weird because I got mine 3 weeks ago and it was pretty solid. Maybe it depends on which state you order?

Yeah, I used to run with IDGod back in 2024 too — probably around mid-year. Placed a couple of small group orders back then. So here's a quick rundown of how it went for me at the time, and then I'll get to the part where I'm wondering if they're still solid now.
Ordering timeline was pretty standard for that era. I put in an order on a Monday, got a confirmation email within 24 hours. Payment was BTC as usual, no issues there. I'd say it took about 12-14 days from order to hitting my mailbox — this was domestic within the US. They did send tracking after like 8 days, which was nice. Communication was decent: I emailed them once about a small address typo and they replied within a day saying it was already in production so they couldn't change it, but the package still arrived fine.
Packaging stealth was okay but nothing special back then, honestly. Just a standard bubble mailer with a return address that looked like some random person's name. No weird customs labels or anything. Inside was a plain cardboard sleeve, IDs wrapped in a piece of paper. No vacuum seal or Mylar bags or anything like that. Fine for domestic, but I wouldn't have risked international with that level of stealth.
As for VFM — value for money — I thought they were pretty good for the price. I was paying around $80-90 per ID for a group of four, and the quality was solid enough for basic use. The holograms were decent, UV held up, and the material felt right. The main downside was that the photos could sometimes come out a bit dark if you didn't tweak your lighting, and the microprint wasn't as crisp as some other vendors I've seen since.
For pros back then, I'd say reliable shipping times, decent customer service (slow but they got back to you), and the IDs worked for most places like bars and convenience stores. On the downside, the scan speed was fine but the template accuracy on some less common states was a little off — especially the raised text and the font spacing on a couple of East Coast states. Also, they didn't offer duplicates for free if yours got taken, so you had to reorder at half price or something like that.
Now, here's the thing — I haven't ordered from them since maybe September 2024. I've been seeing mixed comments lately. Some people say they've fallen off, others say they're still solid for the basics. I'm curious if anyone has recent experience — like in the last couple months. Specifically, are their turnaround times still around two weeks, or have they slowed down? And did they change their packaging at all? Also heard whispers that they might be using a different PVC supplier now, so I'd love to know if the material feel has changed.
And if they're not the move anymore, what are you guys running instead? I'm looking for something in a similar price range — nothing crazy premium, but something that'll hold up to a quick glance and a basic scan. Appreciate any recent reports.
