Anyone tried IDGod recently? Need honest reviews
Yeah, I gave them a shot about a month ago, so I can share my experience. I placed an order for a Florida ID—one of their most popular states. Honestly, it's a mixed bag. Decent for the price if you're on a budget, but don't expect it to breeze through anything more than a casual glance.
Ordering Timeline
I ordered on a Monday evening, paid via Bitcoin (they required it), and got a confirmation email within a couple hours—no issues there. After that, the processing felt like it sat for about 5 or 6 days before I got the "shipped" notification. From there, the actual shipping took roughly 10 days domestic (I'm in the US). So total from order to mailbox was about 16 days, which is a bit over the 7–10 business days they advertise. Not a huge deal, but you definitely need to plan ahead—don't expect it to show up for a big event last-minute.
Packaging
The stealth was pretty standard. It came in a plain bubble mailer with no return address, just a shipping label from some random city in China. Inside, the ID was tucked between two pieces of cardboard inside a greeting card—common trick. No customs paperwork or anything weird, just the card and the ID. Felt low-key enough to not raise suspicions during transit. No UV markings on the envelope or anything like that.
Communication
I shot them an email about a week after ordering just to confirm they'd received my payment (I'm paranoid with Bitcoin). They replied within 2 days with a generic "order is being processed" response. Wasn't super personal, but they answered the question. I didn't need to follow up after that. So communication is slow but functional—don't expect live chat or overnight replies.
Quality Evaluation
The Florida ID itself is decent for what it is. The colors are close to a real FL license I compared it to. The microprint around the birthday and expiration is mostly readable under a loupe, though a couple of letters are a bit blurry. The ghost image is there but kind of faint, and the UV overlay has the correct state outline and "FL" letters—it lit up fine under a blacklight. The feel is a bit stiff compared to real PVC, and the corners were a tiny bit sharp, but a quick rub with a microfiber cloth took the edge off. The signature and photo look clean, not pixelated. I'd say it's passable at bars, gas stations, and places with a quick glance, but I wouldn't risk it at a casino or TSA. It's not IDGod's best state apparently—their older OVI states were supposedly better. The laminate feels a little thin, and there's a slight plastic smell when you first open it, but that fades.
Value for Money (VFM)
For the price I paid—which was on the lower end compared to some newer vendors—it's an okay deal. I'd give it a 6/10 for VFM. You're getting a functional ID that'll pass basic checks, but you're also dealing with slower shipping and some quality compromises. If you need something quick and are willing to spend a bit more, you might be better off with one of the newer resellers that have faster turnaround and better microprint.
Pros & Cons
On the plus side, it's affordable if you're on a tight budget, the colors and layout are accurate to the state, and the UV works correctly. The stealth packaging is decent, and I had no issues with order confirmation or tracking. On the downside, shipping is slower than advertised—took 2.5 weeks total. The microprint and ghost image aren't perfect, and the feel and stiffness are a bit off compared to a real ID. Communication is slow and template-based, the laminate feels cheap and could peel over time, and it's not good for high-security environments.
Final Verdict
Overall, if you're a broke college student or just need something for a few casual uses, IDGod still works. But if you're looking for top-tier quality that'll hold up to scrutiny, I'd check out some of the newer vendors that have popped up in the last year or so. They're not a scam, just outdated. I'll probably try someone else next time.
