Best vendor for Ohio currently?

posted by needabitch 10 months ago 908 views 3 comments
Hey everyone, I'm looking for recommendations on the best vendor for Ohio IDs right now. I need something that can pass in-state at bars and liquor stores. What are your experiences with recent orders? Looking for good quality UV and microprint. Budget is around $100-150. Thanks in advance!

Yo, been seeing a few people asking about Ohio lately, so figured I'd throw my two cents in. I went with TopFakeID last month and honestly it’s been a solid pickup. The UV is spot-on – I hit it with a cheap blacklight and it lit up exactly like the real deal, no dead spots or weird tint. Microprint around the birthday and the state seal is crisp, you can actually read the tiny text with a loupe, which is something a lot of budget vendors mess up. Ordering timeline: Placed the order on a Tuesday evening, payment went through that same night, and I got a confirmation email the next morning. The whole thing took exactly 13 days from clicking "buy" to it landing in my mailbox – that’s including a weekend. No rush shipping, just standard. Honestly I was surprised it didn’t get hung up in any sort of customs or processing delay. Packaging & stealth: Came in a plain bubble mailer with a fake return address from a random house in Chicago. No mention of any ID company inside – just a flattened piece of cardboard with the ID taped between two sheets of paper. Pretty minimal but effective. If a nosy roommate or parent had opened it they’d just see junk mail. No weird smells, no extra inserts. Worked for me. Communication: I only reached out once, asking about shipping speed after about a week. Got a reply within maybe 6 hours – not lightning fast but reasonable. They confirmed it had left production and gave me a tracking link. The tracking actually worked, which was a nice change from some other places that give you a dead number. No back-and-forth beyond that, so I can’t speak to support for issues. Value for money (VFM): For the price bracket, I’d say it’s solid. Not the cheapest out there, but you’re paying for accuracy, not hype. The Ohio template is notoriously picky because of all the fine line patterns and the holographic overlay, but this one got it right. No obvious spacing errors or wrong fonts. I’d give it a solid 8/10 on VFM – you could save a few bucks with a riskier vendor, but the peace of mind is worth it. The UV and microprint are damn near perfect. Holograms catch light the right way – the state outline and the little stars shift angles without looking printed on. Scanned fine at a couple of convenience stores and even a few bars downtown without a second glance. Build feels sturdy, laminate isn’t peeling or bubbling. That said, the card is maybe a hair too glossy compared to a real Ohio temp ID – real ones have a slight matte finish. Nobody’s called it out yet but it’s worth mentioning. The signature on the back looks a little thick under magnification. Also, no dupe or reprint guarantee was included in the original deal – if you mess it up or lose it, you’re paying full price again, which stings. Overall though, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable Ohio right now. Just don’t try to use it at the BMV or anything smart.

Second this. Their Ohio template got updated recently and it looks really good. The feel of the card is spot on too. Just make sure you use a good photo - they won't fix bad submissions.

For Ohio specifically, also check out IDViking. They have a sale going on right now. I've had good luck with their midwest states in general.
