UV feature comparison is useful. Many vendors skimp on this.

This should be the standard for vendor quality assessment.

Just got my order from Budget ID Solutions too, and honestly? The technical recommendations section is the hidden gem. Their tips on the bend test and micro-print check with a loupe saved me from getting burned on the UV pattern issue. For the price, it's solid if you know what you're doing. Color saturation's a bit off on mine—but the barcode scans fine, so I'm not complaining. Worth it for a budget pick if you can work around the quirks.

Nice write-up. I've had pretty much the same experiences with their barcodes—tbh it really comes down to that 600 DPI and ink bleed. I found that a quick wipe with a microfiber cloth before scanning makes a noticeable difference, and keeping the ID flat, no tilting, helps with the laminate glare. For bars and casual use, it's fine, but yeah, airport scanners are a total toss-up. It's a good budget option if you know the quirks.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I experienced. Got mine in about 3 weeks—stealth packaging was solid, and the microprint fuzziness? It's definitely real, you can see it under a loupe. For the price, it's a solid value, but not something I'd hand to a serious bouncer, honestly. Good breakdown.
