Comparing two vendors side by side
Which state? Some templates are harder to get right than others.

Material weight is underrated as a quality indicator. Good catch.
Side-by-side testing is the gold standard for vendor evaluation.
So I finally got around to doing a side-by-side comparison of two vendors I've been curious about. I see these names pop up a lot in the forum, so I figured I'd place orders with both around the same time and share my honest experience. I'm not going to name them directly since that's against the rules, but if you've been reading here a while, you'll probably recognize the profiles.
Ordering Timeline: I placed my order with Vendor A on a Monday and with Vendor B the following Thursday. Both accepted crypto, so payments went through instantly. Vendor A confirmed within 24 hours and provided a tracking number two days later. Vendor B took three days to confirm and another four before I got tracking. Shipping times were noticeably different too—Vendor A's pack landed in my mailbox in 11 days total from payment, while Vendor B took a full 18 days. That's a solid week difference, honestly, which matters when you need something fast.
Packaging Stealth: This is where things got interesting. Vendor A clearly puts thought into it. The package was a plain bubble mailer with a return address that looked like a small business. Inside, the IDs were sandwiched between two greeting cards and wrapped in a thin piece of paper. No smells, no obvious giveaway if you shook it. Vendor B went a different route—they used a standard envelope with a piece of cardboard stiffener. The envelope was a little more envelope-shaped, if you know what I mean, but it still passed as a normal piece of mail. That said, I'd give the stealth edge to Vendor A because it felt more naturally integrated into the mail flow.
Communication Speed: Vendor A replied to my initial inquiry within a few hours, and every follow-up question got answered within 24 hours tops. They were polite and straight to the point, no fluff. Vendor B was slower—closer to 48-hour response times on average, and one message took nearly three days. The replies were still helpful, just not as prompt. If you're the type who wants constant updates, Vendor A is the better bet.
VFM Rating: On value for money, I'd say Vendor A scores a solid 8/10 and Vendor B a 7/10. Both are priced competitively, but Vendor A included a small freebie in the pack (a testing card for the included template) which added a nice touch. Vendor B's product was slightly cheaper per unit, but after factoring in the longer wait and slower communication, the savings didn't feel worth it.
Pros and Cons: For Vendor A, the strengths are faster shipping, better stealth packaging, responsive communication, and a free testing card—but it's a bit more expensive and has limited customization options. Vendor B is cheaper and offers more flexibility with small custom tweaks, but the turnaround is longer, stealth is average, and replies are slower.
Overall, both got the job done, but tbh Vendor A is my go-to if I need reliability and speed. Vendor B could work if you're on a tight budget and have time to wait. This forum is great for gathering intel, so I hope this helps someone else make a more informed choice.
Ordered the same state from two different vendors specifically to compare. Same photo, same info. The differences in hologram accuracy and material weight were noticeable. Happy to go into detail.
