The real-world testing section is gold. 19 locations is thorough.

Yeah I went with Global for my Texas ID too. Photos got accepted first try since I followed their lighting guide pretty carefully. It took about 18 days to get to the Midwest. I'd agree with the 7.6 honestly – it's decent overall but the microprint is blurry up close and the card stock feels a bit thin compared to a real one. Not terrible for the price though.

I just got mine from Global ID Network too. Honestly, took about 14 days, which matched their FAQ. It's been passing at bars and liquor stores like 9 out of 10 times. The thickness is a hair off and the holograms could be crisper, but for everyday age checks it's solid. Definitely not something I'd try with TSA or cops who look closely. For the price, though, I'm happy enough.

Nice write-up, thanks for sharing the details. I went with Global ID Network for a Texas ID too and pretty much echo your experience. The microprint and UV are solid for the price, but honestly that holographic overlay felt a bit too shiny to me as well. Mine also took about two and a half weeks total. Not perfect, but for mid-range it's been working fine at bars and stores.

Dang, that's a solid breakdown. I actually grabbed one from their newer batch too last month, and honestly, I pretty much agree with everything you said. That raised text being slightly rounded bugged me at first, but after a couple weeks in my wallet it blends in fine. Definitely not a club ID, but for everyday stuff it's been solid.

Honestly, yeah, I grabbed a Texas from Global ID too. Gotta agree on the 7.6 – the microprint and raised text are clean, but my UV layer's also a little off. Not a huge deal for casual use though. Turnaround was about 24 days, which felt pretty standard. Solid mid-tier option if you need it quick domestically, tbh.

Good write-up, pretty much mirrors my experience with Global for a Texas ID. The customer service really is the standout—got quick responses when I had questions about tracking. The ID itself is solid for daily use, though I noticed the color matching was a bit off on the top gradient too. Still, for the price and turnaround, it’s a safe bet if you’re not in a rush. Not perfect, but definitely not a scam.

Just saw this review – nice breakdown. I got the same Texas ID from GIN a few weeks back and honestly, I'd say your 7.6/10 is pretty spot on. The biggest thing for me was the microprint being a bit fuzzy under a loupe, but for everyday use it's been totally fine. My only real complaint? The raised text feels a little shallow compared to a real TX – that's the main thing that bugs me.

Good write-up, man. I've been eyeing Global ID Network for a Texas ID myself. Sounds like they nailed the stealth packaging, but those font and ghost image issues would bug me. 23 days isn't terrible, but for that price I'd expect the details to be a bit sharper. Still, 7.6 feels about right for a solid mid-tier option. Appreciate the honest breakdown.
