I want to share my recent experience dealing with the IDGod support team because the forum advice on this topic tends to be either very positive or very negative, and my experience was somewhere in the middle in a way that's actually useful to document.
I had a dispute about a card that arrived with a visible lamination bubble in the lower right corner — not tiny, clearly a production defect rather than shipping damage. I took photos, noted the order number, and submitted a warranty request through their support form. The form is accessible through the order details page, not through a separate contact page, which took me a few minutes to find the first time.
First response came in about 52 hours. It was a real message, not a template — they referenced the specific defect and asked me to confirm my shipping address before they processed the replacement. That interaction was good.
The problem came in the second exchange. I confirmed the address and asked whether the replacement would be expedited or treated as a new order for queue purposes. That reply took eight days. Eight days to answer a one-sentence question. The answer itself was fine — they said it would jump the standard queue — but the delay was frustrating when I had a simple open question.
The replacement card arrived about twelve days after the address confirmation and was defect-free. So the warranty process worked, and the final outcome was positive. The lesson I took from it is that IDGod support is responsive enough to process legitimate warranty claims, but they're not the kind of operation that handles follow-up questions quickly. Submit your request, include everything they need to process it without follow-up questions on their side, and then be prepared to wait on any additional exchanges.
If you're just checking in on a normal order that's progressing through the queue, I'd hold off on contacting support until you're clearly outside the expected window. The ticket queue seems to be handled by a small team and routine check-in messages probably slow things down for everyone.
