First time buyer - need advice on getting started
Hey everyone,
I'm completely new to this and feeling a bit overwhelmed. I've read through some threads but still have questions:
1. How do I know which state to choose? I live in Florida but is it better to get an out-of-state ID?
2. What's a reasonable price range? I've seen everything from $50 to $200+
3. How do payments usually work? Bitcoin only or are there other options?
4. What should I look for in a vendor to avoid scams?
Any help would be appreciated! Just trying to make sure I don't make rookie mistakes.

Welcome! Here's my advice:
1. Out of state is usually safer. Get something common like California or Texas
2. Expect $100-150 for quality. Anything under $80 is probably trash
3. Most vendors take Bitcoin, some take other crypto or payment apps
4. ONLY use verified vendors from the list. Never buy from random messages or new vendors without reviews

Don't rush into it. Take time to read reviews and compare vendors. The extra research will save you money and headaches later.

Also make sure to get a duplicate! If you lose the first one or it gets taken, you'll have a backup. Most vendors offer them cheap.

Good call. And don't be afraid to ask questions here. Everyone was new once. Better to ask than to waste money on a bad vendor.

This is super helpful, thank you! I'll stick with the verified vendors and go for an out of state ID. Definitely getting a duplicate too.
