So I finally took the plunge and placed my first order. Been lurking here for weeks, reading every review I could get my hands on, and honestly I was still nervous as hell right up until I hit "submit." But I went with a vendor that had a solid track record in the community, and so far the process has been pretty smooth.
Ordering Timeline
Placed the order on a Tuesday afternoon. Payment confirmation came through within maybe 20 minutes – I used BTC and the blockchain confirmation went through pretty quick. Vendor sent a "payment received" email that same evening. Then I got the "shipped" notification about two days later, on Thursday. Tracking went live another day after that. From ship date to mailbox it took exactly six business days, so total door-to-door was like a week and a half. Not bad tbh for a first round, but I was definitely refreshing that tracking page way too often.
Packaging & Stealth
Showed up in a plain bubble mailer with a return address that just had a name and a street – nothing that screamed "ID related." Inside was a greeting card (one of those blank ones with a generic floral design) and the ID was tucked into the card's liner, sealed inside a small Mylar bag that was opaque. No smell, no noticeable crinkle when you handled the envelope. Totally discreet. Honestly, wouldn't raise any flags if a roommate or parent grabbed the mail before I did.
Communication Speed
I only reached out once, just to ask about whether I needed to sign for the package or not. Got a reply within 24 hours – and they were polite and actually answered my question directly, which I appreciated a lot. No canned responses. They also sent a follow-up email asking if everything arrived okay after the tracking showed delivered. So communication was on point for what I've seen others report.
VFM (Value for Money)
Considering the quality I got for what I paid – middle-of-the-road pricing for this tier of vendor – I'd say it's pretty solid VFM, tbh. Not the cheapest option out there, but not the most expensive either. You get the level of detail that most people expect without breaking the bank. For a first-timer like me, that peace of mind was totally worth it.
Pros & Cons
Pros: communication was good, stealth was excellent, turnaround time was fair, and the payment process was straightforward with no hiccups. Also, the ID itself (I'm gonna do a separate review later) looks really clean – microprint is sharp, UV passed a basic blacklight test, and the holograms sit nicely.
Cons: The tracking update lagged a bit – like it said "in transit" for almost three days without any location updates, which had me worried. Also, the packaging could have been a little tighter; the card liner was slightly loose when I opened the envelope, but nothing fell out. Minor nitpick though.
For any other first-timers reading this: honestly, stick with the vendors that have a long, consistent history here. Don't cheap out just because it's your first order. And remember, the waiting is the hardest part – once it lands, the nerves totally disappear. So take a breath, trust the process, and you'll be fine.
