First time ordering - vendor experience recap

Just completed my first full cycle from order to receipt. Summarizing the process for others who are new: payment was smooth, updates were sporadic but honest, and the final novelty piece was solid.

Nice write-up, man. That's basically how my first order went too — I was sweating it for no reason, and the vendor came through exactly as advertised. Vendor communication was the thing that settled me, honestly. If a shop replies quick and keeps it straight with you, that's half the battle. Turnaround time was solid on mine as well, got my stealth packaging in about a week. Good to see another legit vendor doing right by first-timers.

Glad your first order went smooth, man. I remember being super nervous when I finally pulled the trigger on my first piece too. One thing I'd mention is that my vendor's communication was solid—they kept me updated on turnaround time the whole way. Also, the stealth packaging surprised me, which was a nice touch. Helps you feel like you've found a legit vendor when that part's handled. Hope the quality matches expectations for you!

I feel you on being on the fence. I almost pulled the trigger on a similar first order a few months back, and my vendor came through fine too. The order process was smooth enough, but I’d say keep an eye on vendor communication — sparse updates aren’t a red flag on their own if the turnaround time lines up. If stealth packaging was good for yours, you’re golden. Always nice to land a legit vendor first try. Hope the next one goes just as smoothly.

Yo, first time buyer here. I'd been lurking for a while before pulling the trigger, so I figured I'd drop a full recap in case anyone else is on the fence like I was. Overall, I'm glad I went for it. The experience was solid, and my expectations were met — no real hiccups.

Placed the order on a Monday afternoon, got a confirmation email within maybe 12 hours. Didn't hear anything for a couple days, then I got a shipping notification on Thursday with a tracking number. Package landed in my mailbox the following Wednesday, so roughly 8-9 days from order to door. Keep in mind this was domestic shipping, so YMMV if you're ordering cross-country. No weekends lost, no customs drama — just a smooth turnaround.

It came in a plain manila bubble mailer with no return address on the label, just a generic street name. Inside was a folded piece of cardboard holding the ID, and that was it — no extra inserts, no logos, no smell. If someone random saw the envelope they'd think it was junk mail or a cheap online purchase. Definitely passable for casual roommates or nosy family. The ID itself was in a small sleeve, which was a nice touch for keeping it clean during shipping.

Emails were answered within a business day, usually in the evenings. I asked a quick question about a minor spec tweak (photo crop guidelines) and they replied with a clear reference image, no attitude. I never felt ghosted or pressured. For a first-time buyer, that communication speed alone made me less anxious about sending crypto. I didn't bug them after shipping — the tracking worked fine.

Pricing was what I expected for a novelty — nothing outrageously cheap, but definitely not top-shelf premium. Considering this was my first order and I didn't need it to pass anything beyond a quick glance, I'd call it fair. You get what you pay for in this hobby; if you want a spot-on replica with all the bells and whistles, you'll pay triple. For a first timer testing the waters, I think the value is there.

As for pros, the ordering process was easy even for a crypto noob. Communication was solid with no runaround. The packaging was discreet enough for a shared mailbox, and the turnaround time was on the faster side of what I've read on here. The overall product matches the photos they provided.

On the downside, the microprint is a little fuzzy under a loupe — but that's expected at this price point. The lamination edge could be trimmed a bit cleaner; there's a slight ridge on one corner. Also, no duplicate or backup was sent (some vendors offer a free second card, this one didn't). Shipping tracking went quiet for a day mid-transit, but it still arrived on time.

Overall I'd give this vendor a solid 7.5/10 for a first order. Nothing blew me away, but nothing disappointed me either. If you're new and want a no-stress experience with a real human on the other end of the email, this was a good start. Hope this helps someone who's still deciding.

Sporadic updates are normal. Most vendors are not running 24/7 support.

What state did you go with for the first piece?

Good to document this. Helpful for others considering their first order.
