First time using fake ID tomorrow night - tips to not get caught?
My ID from BUY-ID just arrived today and it looks amazing. Quality is way better than I expected. But now I am super nervous about actually using it for the first time.
Going to a bar tomorrow night with friends (they all have real IDs). I am 19 and the ID says I am 22.
**What I am worried about:**
- What if they ask me questions about my address or birthdate?
- Should I memorize everything on the ID?
- What if the bouncer takes it and does not give it back?
- How should I act when handing it over - confident or casual?
- What if they bend it or shine a light on it?
I know the ID is good quality and it scans but I am worried I will mess it up by acting nervous or not knowing my info.
**Specific questions:**
1. Do bouncers usually ask questions or just scan/look at it?
2. Should I have a backup story ready?
3. What is the best way to hand over the ID?
4. If they seem suspicious should I just take it back and leave?
5. Any rookie mistakes I should avoid?
I have been waiting weeks for this and do not want to blow it on the first try. Any advice from experienced people would really help calm my nerves.

First time is always nerve wracking but honestly you are overthinking it. Just memorize your birthday, address, and zip code. When you hand it over be casual and confident like you have done it a million times. Do NOT look nervous or keep making eye contact. Just hand it over, look away casually like you are checking your phone or talking to friends, and wait. 95% of the time they barely look at it, just scan it and hand it back. You will be fine.

Pro tips: 1) Know your info cold - birthday, address, zodiac sign if they ask. 2) Act like you belong there. 3) If they bend test it or shine light on it that is NORMAL, they do that to real IDs too. Do not freak out. 4) Never admit it is fake even if caught, just say you do not understand and leave. 5) Start at an easy place like a liquor store to build confidence before trying strict bars.
