🧮 Group Order Tips

1. Designate a Group Leader

  • One person handles payment and ordering
  • Everyone Venmos the group leader first
  • Reduces confusion and errors

2. Collect Info Early

Create a Google Form with fields for:

  • Full name (for fake ID)
  • Fake birthdate
  • Fake address
  • Height, weight, eye color, hair color
  • Photo upload

3. Set a Hard Deadline

"All info and payment due by Friday at 5pm. No exceptions."

Otherwise people will drag it out forever 😤

4. Use the Right Vendor for Your Size

  • 2-4 people: OISF or LostID (quality over savings)
  • 5-8 people: LostID (best value/quality balance)
  • 9+ people: IDGod (savings become significant)

💡 Real Example: My Group Order

What we did:

Group of 6 college students
Vendor: LostIdentification
Price: $130 per person
Total: $780

Compared to buying individually at $160: Saved $180 total!

Process:

  1. Created group chat
  2. Shared Google Form for info collection
  3. Set 1-week deadline
  4. Everyone Venmo'd me by deadline
  5. I placed the order same day
  6. Received in 11 days
  7. Met up to distribute IDs

Super smooth process, would definitely do again! ✅

⚠️ Common Group Order Mistakes

Avoid these:

  • ❌ Not collecting payment upfront (people flake)
  • ❌ No deadline (order gets delayed weeks)
  • ❌ Rushing info collection (mistakes in orders)
  • ❌ Not double-checking everyone's info (costly to fix)
  • ❌ Choosing cheapest vendor without considering quality needs

Nice breakdown! I've found the savings really kick in once you hit that 2-3 person mark. One tip though—if you're splitting costs, make sure everyone pays with BTC directly to the vendor instead of routing through one person. That way you avoid litecoin network fees eating into your discount, and nobody has to front the whole bill. Also, double-check the escrow service safety if you're using a newer vendor. Group buys are great, but the math gets messy fast if someone flakes.

One thing to add: When doing group orders with IDGod, shipping takes longer (3-4 weeks vs 1-2 weeks domestic).

So if you need them quickly, the time difference might be worth paying more for OISF/LostID. ⏰

The tables are super helpful! 📊

Never realized IDGod has such aggressive discounts for larger groups. Might switch from OISF for our group of 12.

Glad it's helpful! Yeah, Google Forms changed the game for me. You can even make it send you an email notification when someone submits so you know who's done.

Also prevents people from claiming they "already sent" their info when they didn't 😂

The Google Form idea is genius! 💡

I was just texting people individually last time and it was a nightmare keeping track of who sent what info.
