Has anyone heard from IDFairy recently?

Hey everyone, I've been lurking here for a while and doing my homework on ID vendors. Over the past week I've narrowed my list down to a few options, and IDFairy keeps popping up in older threads but I haven't seen much recent discussion. I'm trying to get a clearer picture before I pull the trigger, so if anyone has ordered from them in the last couple months, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience.

To make this easier for people to chime in, here's the kind of info I'm hoping for. First off, a complete ordering timeline would be huge — from the day you placed the order to when it actually landed in your mailbox. Did it take the standard couple weeks, or did it run long? I know production and shipping times can vary, but I'm trying to figure out if they're consistently on time or if they have a habit of going silent for weeks after payment.

Packaging stealth is another thing I'm really curious about. Does the envelope look totally plain, or is there any return address that gives it away? Do they do any kind of vacuum sealing or other smell-blocking? I live with roommates and my mail gets left on a shared table, so I need it to look like a boring letter or a small package — nothing that screams "novelty ID" at first glance.

Communication speed is a big deal for me too. How responsive are they if you email them or use their contact form? Do they send order confirmation and shipping updates, or do you just have to sit and hope it shows up? I've seen some reviews where people say they never got a single reply after ordering, and that makes me nervous. Even a quick "we got your order, processing" would put my mind at ease.

Value for money is obviously key. I'm willing to pay a fair price for good quality, but I'm not trying to drop a ton of cash on something that's going to look off. How would you rate the overall VFM? Specifically, I'm interested in the actual ID quality — things like microprint legibility, UV overlay presence and color accuracy, the feel and thickness of the PVC, and whether the holograms look authentic. Have you tested them under a blacklight? Does the material feel flimsy or does it have that real card stiffness?

And finally, pros and cons from your actual experience. For the pros, maybe the turnaround time, the accuracy of the template, or the customer service if it was good. For the cons, I'm wondering about any template errors (wrong font, spacing issues, bad signature placement), lamination that peels or has bubbles, or scans that look washed out. I know no vendor is perfect, but I want to go in eyes open about what the common trade-offs are.

If you've ordered in the last month or two, especially — I know things can change batch to batch, so recent experience is gold. Thanks in advance for any info you can share!
