How important is the UV feature really?
I've been researching different vendors and noticed some charge extra for UV features while others include it standard.
For those of you with experience - how often do bouncers actually check UV? Is it worth paying extra for?
I'm mainly planning to use it at bars and clubs in college towns, not sure if that makes a difference.

I've never had UV checked in over a year of using mine. That said, I mostly go to dive bars and college spots. If you're hitting upscale places, definitely get UV.

Get it. Better safe than sorry. The one time you need it and don't have it, you'll wish you spent the extra $25 or whatever it costs.

Really depends on where you're using it. College bars barely check UV. Higher end clubs or strict places absolutely will. For $20-30 extra I'd say it's worth the peace of mind.

Most vendors include UV as standard nowadays anyway. But yeah, it's not checked super often. The few times bouncers have pulled out a blacklight though, I was glad I had it.
