IDGod ticket response time

posted by Mayton 1 month ago 383 views 0 comments

Submitted a support ticket to IDGod last month about an order where the tracking number went dead for eight days after the first scan. Posting the timeline here because questions about their response speed come up regularly and the answers people give are usually outdated.

Day 1: Submitted the ticket through their portal with my order number, tracking number, and a description of the issue. Auto-confirmation arrived within about two minutes.

Day 2, roughly 20 hours later: First human reply. It acknowledged the tracking issue, noted that gaps of up to ten days are common on this shipping route before the next scan event, and asked me to wait until day fourteen from the original ship date before escalating.

Day 9: Tracking updated on its own with a new scan showing the package in customs. The ticket stayed open.

Day 11: Package delivered. I closed the ticket and sent a follow-up confirming delivery.

What I'd say about the interaction: the response time was reasonable, about twenty hours for the first substantive reply. The reply was accurate — the package did show up without any intervention needed. What it wasn't was proactive. They waited for me to contact them and responded to the specific question I asked, rather than flagging the tracking gap themselves and reaching out.

That said, I'm not sure I'd expect proactive outreach from any vendor at this scale. The ticket system worked as intended. If your issue is time-sensitive, their support is probably adequate but not the kind of service where someone is monitoring your order status on your behalf. Prepare your documentation — order number, payment reference, tracking number, dates — before you submit the ticket. Replies that reference those specifics get faster, more useful responses than vague complaints.

The broader lesson from this support interaction: IDGod's ticket system works, and the advice they gave was accurate. They're not going to proactively chase your package, but if you open a ticket with organized information, they'll respond with something useful rather than a dismissal.
