IDGod vs FakeYourDrank - Which one has better quality now?
I placed the order on a Tuesday evening, paid via Bitcoin, and it went through within an hour. Got a confirmation email that same night saying they'd received it. Processing took about three business days – I got the shipping notification on Friday. Tracking showed it originated from somewhere in Asia, then went through customs in NY. Total time from order to mailbox was exactly 13 days. So the "about two weeks" claim holds up. Not instant, but pretty standard for this kind of thing.
The package arrived in a plain unpadded bubble mailer with a return address that looked like a generic "Fulfillment Center" from a major retailer. Inside was a folded magazine with the IDs carefully taped between the pages – super low-key. No extra padding or anything that would draw attention. Customs label was generic and didn't raise any flags as far as I could tell. Definitely did its job getting through without anyone poking around.
I sent them an email about a week after ordering just to confirm the color profile on the CTs (I was being paranoid about the blue being too dark). They replied within about 12 hours with a nice detailed breakdown of how they match the Pantone colors for that state. Not a canned response – actually helpful. Didn't need to reach out again, but the one interaction was solid.
These holos are crisp. The color shift is actually noticeable when you tilt them – it goes from gold to a kind of greenish-bronze, which is what the real ones do. IDGod's holos I've seen in the past were always washed out and you could tell they were trying too hard to get the effect. FYD's are much more subtle and natural. The template itself scans at gas stations and liquor stores without issue. Tested at three different places – two gas stations and one packy – not a single second look. One clerk even commented "nice new ID" and handed it back.
Compared to what IDGod charges for similar volume, FYD is a no-brainer right now. The pricing is competitive, the quality is there, and you're not waiting three weeks for something that looks like a kid's photocopy project. I'd give it an 8.5/10 for value. Not perfect, but you're definitely getting more than what you pay for.
The hologram quality is noticeably better than IDGod – sharper, better color shift, more realistic. It passes basic scanning at gas stations and liquor stores without fuss. The stealth packaging is good, doesn't scream "novelty IDs." Support was responsive when I had a question about color matching. Turnaround is reasonable considering it's international.
On the downside, shipping takes about two weeks door to door – not a dealbreaker, but not fast. The microprint on the back could be a bit tighter; it's legible with a loupe but the spacing is slightly off compared to a real CT. And the signature line thickness is a tiny bit heavy – might get called out by someone with a real one for comparison, but nobody's actually going to measure it at a gas station.
Overall, ID
