I've been watching IDGod's tracking system more carefully than usual on my current order and wanted to share what I found since the general advice in tracking threads is vague about what "working" actually looks like for this vendor.
IDGod provides a tracking number after shipping confirmation, but the tracking page they link to is their own portal rather than a direct carrier link. The portal page updates when it receives data from the carrier, but there's a lag — carrier scan events appear on the IDGod portal about six to twelve hours after they occur, in my experience. This means if you're checking IDGod's tracking portal and see a stale last event, the package may actually be further along than the portal shows.
For my current order, the IDGod portal showed the same "departed origin facility" event for nine days. During that time, I used the carrier's own tracking system — which you can access if you can identify the carrier from the tracking number format — and found two additional scan events that hadn't appeared in the IDGod portal yet. Both appeared in the IDGod portal about eight hours after I saw them on the carrier's site.
The practical lesson: if IDGod tracking appears stuck, try identifying the carrier from the tracking number format and checking directly on the carrier's website. You'll have more current information and it'll reduce unnecessary anxiety about whether the package is actually moving. Most of the "my tracking is frozen" reports I've seen in forum threads are people looking at IDGod's lag-affected portal rather than the carrier's live system.
Current order status, for anyone interested in a real data point: fifteen days from shipping confirmation, the package is showing as cleared destination customs and in domestic transit. I expect delivery within two to three more days based on current tracking events.
