KingOfFakes tracking links update in a non-obvious pattern that confused me the first time I used them, and I want to document what I've observed across three orders so others don't read a stale tracking status as a problem.
First observation: the tracking page that KingOfFakes sends in their shipping notification is a carrier-branded page rather than their own tracking interface. This means the update frequency and display format depend on the carrier, not on KingOfFakes. The vendor has no control over when tracking events appear on the carrier's page.
Second observation: for international shipments, the initial departure scan is often the last tracking event for five to ten days. This is the routing stage where the package moves from the origin country to the transit hub to the destination country's customs zone. Depending on the specific routing, none of these intermediate handoffs may generate a scan visible on the carrier page. The package is moving; it just isn't scanning.
Third observation: when events do resume, they sometimes appear in a batch. I've had tracking pages go from one event to four events simultaneously — three events logged retroactively after the package cleared customs and entered the domestic network. This isn't the carrier trying to hide a delay; it's the customs processing zone not reporting events in real time, and the domestic carrier logging the history of where the package was when they received it.
Based on my three orders, the gap between the last international event and the first domestic event has been seven days, nine days, and four days. The four-day case was the fastest I've seen for this route; seven to ten days seems typical. If your KingOfFakes tracking shows a gap in this range, the most useful thing to do is wait and check again in a couple of days rather than contacting support while the package is in the normal silent zone.
