Looking for a vendor that does good Pennsylvania IDs

posted by crump 9 months ago 511 views 5 comments

Hey all, I'm trying to track down a vendor that does solid Pennsylvania IDs. Specifically looking for PA because I need the keystone, the color matching on the blue/yellow gradients, and the microprint details to be spot on. I've seen some older reviews floating around—some from maybe a year ago on other forums—mentioning a couple of vendors that used to be reliable for PA, but I'm not sure if they're still active or if quality has slipped.

Honestly, the old reviews I found talked about turnaround times being around 2-3 weeks, but they didn't go into much detail about stealth packaging or how the vendor handled communication. That's kind of a big deal for me. I'd really like to know how fast vendors respond these days—are they answering within a day or ghosting for a week? And since PA is a pretty common state request, I'd assume there are vendors who specialize in it, but I want to hear from people who've actually ordered recently, not just from some archive post.

On the packaging side, I've seen people mention that some vendors use mylar bags or vacuum sealing, while others just throw it in a plain envelope. If you've ordered a PA ID, could you share what the stealth was like? Does it pass a casual inspection? Communication speed is another big one—did the vendor keep you updated on the order status, or did you have to chase them down?

As for value for money, I'm trying to figure out what a fair price range is for a high-quality PA. I don't want to overpay just because someone claims they have "advanced UV" or "real OVI," but I also don't want to cheap out and end up with something that's clearly fake. If anyone can break down the pros and cons of the vendors they've used, that would be amazing. Like, is there a trade-off between price and turnaround time? Are there specific issues with PA IDs—like the raised text not being thick enough or the back hologram being off—that I should watch out for?

I know some vendors have moved or changed processes since the pandemic, so that's another reason I'm skeptical about older reviews. If you've got a recent order experience (say within the last 3-6 months), please drop the details. I'm not looking for a vendor name drop per se, just honest feedback on what to expect. Thanks in advance—this community has saved my ass before, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction for PA.

Also make sure the raised keystone on the back is done right. That's another thing cheap vendors mess up on PA IDs.

I got a PA ID last year and it's been solid. Can't name vendors publicly but check the vendor reviews section, there are a few good options.

Feel free to DM me, I can point you to a vendor that does excellent PA IDs. Used mine all over Pittsburgh with zero problems.

PA is tricky because of the keystone hologram. Make sure whoever you go with has that down or it'll be obvious.

Thanks, I'll check out the reviews. The hologram is exactly what I'm worried about so good to know that's the key thing to look for.
