I set up a Monero wallet specifically for my PremiumFakes order and want to document the payment process in more detail than I've found in existing posts, since most accounts either skip the wallet setup steps or assume familiarity that newer buyers might not have.
I used Cake Wallet, which handles Monero natively and doesn't require technical setup beyond installing the app and creating a wallet. The initial sync took about forty minutes to sync the blockchain on a decent wifi connection. Once synced, you need to fund the wallet — I sent Monero from an exchange, which took about twenty minutes after the exchange confirmed the withdrawal. The amount landed in Cake Wallet and I could see the balance immediately after the transaction was confirmed on-chain.
On the PremiumFakes order page, the payment step generates a unique Monero address for your transaction. This address is specific to your order — don't reuse addresses from previous orders. The invoice also shows the USD amount and the equivalent XMR amount at the current rate. I confirmed that the XMR amount in my wallet matched what the invoice expected before sending. There's a small exchange rate risk if prices move between when the invoice is generated and when you send, but for small amounts and stable-period transactions this usually isn't a practical issue.
I sent the Monero from Cake Wallet using the address from the PremiumFakes invoice. Transaction broadcast confirmation appeared in the wallet within a few seconds. On-chain confirmation came in about twenty-five minutes. The PremiumFakes order page updated to reflect payment received within a few minutes of on-chain confirmation — I didn't have to manually notify them or wait for a manual review.
Total time from funding my wallet to payment confirmed: about an hour, most of which was the blockchain sync on initial setup. For subsequent orders, if the wallet is already synced and funded, the payment step itself takes five minutes.
