My vendor came through after a long wait
The wait is always the hardest part, honestly. I placed my order about six weeks ago, and after the first three weeks with no update I started getting that nervous feeling. Communication was pretty sparse—like, maybe a reply every 4–5 days when I checked in, always the same "still in production" line. Not rude, just slow. But then once it finally shipped, it went from overseas to my doorstep in less than a week, which was surprising. Total timeline from order to mailbox was around 43 days.
Packaging stealth was pretty decent, I'd say. Came in a plain bubble mailer with a return address that looked like a random Etsy seller, no indication of anything related to IDs. Inside, there was a folded greeting card and the product slid into the card's sleeve. No vacuum sealing or Mylar bag, but it passed the sniff test for a casual package. Tbh, not the most creative stealth I've seen, but it did the job.
As for communication speed, like I said, replies were slow during production but once it shipped they answered same-day about tracking. So I'd give them like a 3/5 for responsiveness. Value for money? Honestly, considering the wait time, I'd say it's decent for the price point. Not the cheapest option out there, but not top-tier pricing either. You get what you pay for. I'd give it a 7/10 VFM—could be better if the turnaround was faster, obviously.
The final product looks solid—raised text feels correct, no obvious color matching issues, and it scans fine with the basic apps. Holograms are layered well. Packaging was stealthy enough to avoid suspicion. On the downside, the shipping timeframe was definitely on the long side, and the lack of proactive updates made it worse. Also, the corners are a tiny bit sharp—could use a slight rounding. Overall, I'm just glad it actually came through, you know? Always nerve-wracking with these long waits, but it worked out in the end.
22 days is within normal range for quality work. Worth it.
