My vendor came through after a long wait

Week 3 was making me nervous but it showed up on day 22 and the prop card looked perfect. Communication was slow but the end result made up for it. Would reorder.

Did the novelty piece pass your initial quality checks?

22 days is within normal range for quality work. Worth it.

So I finally got my order from this vendor – honestly, it felt like forever. I know the title says "came through," and it did, eventually, but man, the wait really tested my patience. Just wanted to drop a detailed review so others know what to expect if they're considering the same route.

Ordering Timeline: I placed the order on a random Tuesday, got the automated confirmation immediately. Then things went quiet for about a week. I hit them up via their support channel after day 10 and got a generic "still processing" reply. Around the two-week mark I got a shipping notification with a tracking number that didn't work for another three days. Once it went live, the package took about 10 days to actually land in my mailbox. So total from order to doorstep was roughly 4.5 weeks. Not the fastest but not the longest I've seen either. I'd call it a solid month, give or take.

Packaging & Stealth: It arrived in a plain bubble mailer, no logos or customs labels that gave anything away. Inside was just a folded piece of cardboard and the ID tucked into a thin plastic sleeve – no extra inserts, no business cards, nothing that would raise eyebrows if someone else opened it. Return address was a random residential street name. Pretty standard low-key stealth for this kind of thing. No issues with customs or postal inspection that I could tell, tbh.

Communication Speed: Honestly, it was hit or miss. They responded to my initial order confirmation right away, but during the processing phase it took about 2-3 days to get a reply each time. When I asked about the shipping delay, the answer was pretty vague – just "it's in the queue." After it shipped, they did respond faster to my query about the tracking not updating, like within 24 hours. So not terrible, but not what I'd call fast either. You definitely have to be patient.

VFM Rating: Given the wait and the fact that it's a novelty ID, I'd give this a 7/10 for value for money. The physical card itself looks alright – the layering and colors are decent, raised text is present and feels okay when you run your finger over it. But you can tell it's not perfect if you compare side by side with a real one. The holos are somewhat reflective but not spot-on, and the microprint is a little blurry under magnification. For the price I paid (which was fair, not a bargain but not a ripoff), it does the basic job in dim lighting or quick glances. Just don't expect perfection.

Pros: They delivered after a long wait, which is more than some other vendors do. Packaging was properly stealthy with no company names or obvious markings. The card feels solid when bent slightly, not flimsy. Support did eventually reply to all my questions.

Cons: The wait is brutal – definitely the hardest part. Communication is slow enough that you'll probably feel a bit anxious. The print quality is decent but not top tier; the microprint is a letdown if that's important to you. Also the template they used seems a little outdated compared to recent issues, so it might not pass close scrutiny.

Overall, I'm glad it worked out in the end. If you're not in a rush and just need something for low-stakes situations, this vendor can deliver. But be prepared to sit on your hands for a month and don't expect constant updates. Hope this helps someone else who's debating pulling the trigger.
