Order status not updating - thoughts?
Yeah, I had the exact same issue a few weeks back. Ordered and it just sat on "processing" for what felt like forever—no movement, no updated timeline, nothing. Honestly, I was starting to get nervous, thinking maybe the payment didn't go through or they were OOS.
Here's what happened: It stayed on "processing" for a full week, zero changes. I was checking it every day, clicking refresh like it would somehow magically update. No email, no tracking number, nada. Then on day seven it suddenly flipped to "shipped" with a tracking number. No intermediate "packing" or "in production" stages—just skipped straight through. It arrived a few days later, everything fine.
For troubleshooting, first double-check your spam and promotions folders—sometimes the tracking email gets lost in there. Also make sure you're logged into the right account and try the order lookup with the order number if you're checking as a guest. If it's been more than 10 business days with zero status change, reach out to support through the site's contact form—don't just DM on social, that tends to be slower.
The fix in my case was literally just waiting. I know that's frustrating, but tbh these shops sometimes batch orders or have a manual review step before shipping. The processing status just means it's in the queue, not that something's broken.
For prevention next time, make sure you use a payment method that gives you a confirmation from your bank or crypto side too—that'll at least prove the vendor got the funds. Take a screenshot of the order confirmation page the moment you place it, and note the estimated turnaround time if it's listed on their product page. If the expected window passes without update, then start calmly pushing support. But honestly, a week on processing isn't unusual for a lot of these vendors—they're not Amazon Prime.
Processing can take a few days. If its been over a week contact support
5 days is normal. They batch orders together
My order has said "processing" for 5 days now. Is this normal?
