Got my order but theres a small issue with the photo. Has anyone dealt with reprints before? How does the process work?

Yo, figured I'd share my experience since I just did a reprint with the same vendor I used last year. Back then I ordered my first one from them, and when that got taken or I just wanted a fresh copy — honestly can't remember which — I hit them up for a reprint. So yeah, it wasn't a first-time order, just a redo of a template they already had on file.

So here's the timeline: I placed the reprint order on a Tuesday evening, and it landed in my mailbox the following Tuesday morning. So about a full week from payment to in-hand, which I thought was pretty solid. No weekend delays or anything weird. I didn't pay for rush shipping, just whatever standard option they had. The original order from last year took maybe a couple weeks, so this was faster — probably because they already had my design and details saved.

Packaging stealth was decent. Came in a plain poly mailer, no return address that raised eyebrows — just a random name and a PO box in a neighboring state. Inside was a simple cardboard sleeve with the ID, no bubble wrap or anything fancy, but it wasn't crushed. The envelope itself was nondescript, so if a roommate or parent grabbed the mail they wouldn't think twice. That said, no vacuum sealing or decoy items — just the card in a sleeve.

Honestly, I didn't really need to reach out because everything went smooth. But I sent a quick message on their site a couple hours after ordering just to confirm the reprint was being processed — I'm paranoid like that. Got a reply back within about 12 hours, which for me is acceptable. No automated nonsense, actually a person saying "we're on it." So response time was fine for a mid-tier vendor.

Since it was a reprint, I only paid half the original price, which made it a no-brainer. If I had to pay full price again, I'd still say it's worth it for the turnaround and quality. But compared to some of the budget options out there, these guys sit in that sweet spot where you're not paying premium but you're also not getting junk. I'd give it a solid 8/10 for VFM — not the cheapest, but reliable.

On the plus side, turnaround was quick, especially for a reprint. They kept my template on file so no back-and-forth with new photos or signatures. The ID itself matched the specs from my first order — same material, same feel, same UV pattern (no scanning issues last time either). And packaging was discreet enough for a dorm drop.

The downside? No tracking number provided — kinda nerve-wracking just waiting. Also, the packaging could be a bit more robust; if it had gotten bent, the card could have snapped since it's a poly mailer with no extra padding. And for new customers, the communication might be slower since they don't have a history with you. But for a reprint, nothing to complain about.

Overall, if you already have a solid template with a vendor and just need a fresh copy, give it a shot. Just don't expect a tracking update — sit back and wait that week out.
