Recent delivery from IDGod review

My most recent IDGod order arrived last week — a California fake id — and I want to document the inspection results while everything is fresh, since I went through a reasonably thorough check on this scannable id.

The order took twenty-one days from placement to delivery. Payment was Monero, confirmed in about 40 minutes. Photo verification cleared in three days. I received a proof on day nine of production, approved it same day, and received the shipping notification four days after approval. Transit took eight days with no significant tracking gaps.

Physical Check

Card stock is rigid, correct weight, passes the drop ring test. No edge delamination on arrival — all four corners of this novelty id are clean. The surface texture is consistent across the entire face with no visible layering or unevenness. Front face printing is sharp at normal viewing distance.

Security Features

The holographic overlay shows correct color shift across the expected zones. Under a desk lamp at about 30 degrees, the OVI element produces a smooth spectral sweep. UV element is present in the correct zone and shows even fluorescence density without patchiness. The microprint elements on this state are small enough that I need a loupe to evaluate them clearly, and they looked correct at 10x magnification.

Barcode

Decoded correctly on both apps I tested. All mandatory and optional AAMVA fields were present and consistent with the front face data. Jurisdiction code matched. No field encoding errors.

One minor observation: the portrait print quality is good but the color saturation on the portrait seemed slightly warmer than I'd expect for this state. It's subtle and I can't say definitively whether it's outside tolerance for genuine cards from this state or just normal variation. Everything else on the card was correct.

Overall this is a solid result from IDGod's current production. The barcode scans clean and quality in particular was better than what I saw from them about a year ago, which suggests production improvements on that front.
