Reorder experience - even better than first time

Second order from the same vendor and they clearly refined their process. The replica piece has noticeably better hologram layering and the edge sealing is cleaner. Vendor is improving over time.

So I figured I'd drop a quick follow-up on my reorder from the same vendor I used a few months back. First order was solid, but this time around it genuinely feels like they took things up a notch. I know we usually see vendors coasting after a few sales, but this one seems to be actively improving their process – refreshing to see, honestly.

Ordering Timeline
Placed my order on a Monday evening via their regular checkout. Payment went through with BTC – no hiccups, confirmation email came within about 20 minutes. Order was marked as shipped the very next afternoon. Actual transit took about 5 business days domestically, so from order to mailbox was exactly a week. First time took closer to 10 days, so they definitely tightened up their turnaround.

Packaging & Stealth
This is where I noticed the biggest improvement. First order came in a plain bubble mailer – fine for domestic but nothing special. This time it was inside a small cardboard box wrapped in brown packing paper, with what looked like a magnetic clasp on the inside flap that gave it a bit more rigidity. There was a subtle fabric lining that made it feel less like a typical "document" envelope. Nothing loud or suspicious, just better materials than before. No detectable odor, and the outer packaging had a random return address from a different city. I'd say it's solid for everyday use but probably not international-gateway level. Good enough that I wouldn't sweat it through standard mail screening.

Communication Speed
I didn't need to reach out much, but I did send a quick question about the updated template features a couple days after ordering. Got a reply within about 4 hours – not instant, but reasonable. The response was a bit short but answered exactly what I asked. On my first order it took closer to 10 hours and they were friendlier. This time it felt more businesslike, which honestly I prefer for these transactions. No fluff, just info.

VFM (Value for Money)
Price was roughly the same as my initial order – no discount for being a repeat customer, which would've been nice but not expected. Given the improvements in packaging and quicker ship time, I'd say it's still a good deal. The actual ID quality (which I'll get to in the pros) also seemed better, so the value proposition is slightly higher now. Compared to other vendors in the same price bracket, this one edges ahead. I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10 on VFM – could be a 9 if they offered some loyalty pricing or faster shipping options.

Specific Pros & Cons
On the plus side, the physical template feels more refined this time – laminate layers are better aligned, less bubbling around the edges. Raised text is noticeably sharper and more consistent across the whole card. First batch had a spot near the expiration date that was a bit uneven; this one is clean. UV pattern visibility under blacklight is much closer to the real state's – the microprint placement is more accurate. And the packaging improvement is real; the box protects the card better during transit and doesn't look as generic.

As for cons, the photo edit on the first card I received had a slight color shift (too warm), but this time the colors matched my source photo exactly. However, I think they still could improve the fine line microprint on the back – it's a tad heavy compared to an actual issued card I compared side by side. Still no tracking number included unless you specifically ask and pay extra. I didn't bother because domestic is fast enough, but it would be a nice standard inclusion. Communication felt a bit robotic this round – lost that personal touch from the initial order. Not a dealbreaker, but could be off-putting for newbies.

All in all, I'm happy I reordered. The iterative improvements show the vendor is paying attention to feedback, which is exactly how this game should work. If they keep this trajectory, they'll be a top-tier option in the next few months. Would recommend if you're looking for a mid-range option that doesn't cut corners on the core details.

Edge sealing improvement is huge. That was always the weak point.

Consistent vendors who improve over time are rare. Lock that one in.
