Took 4 weeks but the prop card is flawless
Patience rewarded. This is the way.
Figured I'd drop my experience with the prop card vendor since I just got mine in hand. Been lurking here for a while and read a lot of mixed stuff about turnaround times, but honestly? I'd rather wait an extra week than end up with something that screams "fake." That whole "rushed work shows" thing is 100% true in my book.
Timeline: I placed my order and within about 24 hours got a confirmation email with an order number. No tracking initially, just a "processing" status. Then radio silence for a solid two weeks, which had me a little nervous. Day 15 I shot them a message through the site's contact form asking for an update. They replied within 12 hours saying it was in final production and would ship soon. On day 21 I got a shipping notice with a tracking number that actually worked. Package landed on day 28 — so just about 4 weeks on the nose from order placement to mailbox delivery. No weekend delays, just a steady pace.
Packaging stealth was solid. It came in a plain bubble mailer with a return address that was just a generic residential name and a street address — no business name or anything ID-related. Inside was a folded piece of cardboard and the prop card itself was sandwiched between two thin sheets of foam, then slid into a standard plastic sleeve. No labels, no logos, no weird tape. If someone in my house had opened it by accident, they'd have thought it was a replacement credit card or a membership card. Overkill? Maybe. But better safe than sorry.
Communication speed was decent, not lightning fast but not ghosting either. When I reached out on day 15 they responded within half a day, and they were polite and direct. They didn't dodge the question or give a canned response. That goes a long way with me.
Value for money (VFM): I'd rate it a strong 8/10. The price was fair for the quality — not the cheapest I've seen on the board, but definitely not the most expensive either. For what I paid, considering the materials and the finish, I feel like I got what I was after. No buyer's remorse here.
Pros: The card itself is genuinely flawless. The lamination is tight with no bubbles, the corners are perfectly rounded, and the print is crisp even under a loop. The microtext is readable, the holograms catch light properly, and the magstripe feels real — not that sticky plasticky texture cheap ones have. Colors match the reference I sent exactly. No off-shades or misalignment issues.
Cons: The wait time. Four weeks is long if you're in a hurry, and the lack of updates between order and shipping confirmation could be improved. Also, while my first message got a quick reply, I've seen others mention they had to follow up twice. That seems hit-or-miss. And honestly, for a prop card that's mostly static design, the turnaround could be a bit faster if they streamlined the queue. But hey, quality takes time, and I'll take a perfect card at four weeks over a sloppy one at ten days any time.
Anyway, happy to answer questions if anyone's on the fence. Just be patient and you'll be stoked with what lands in your mailbox.
Which state? Curious which templates take longer to produce accurately.
4 weeks is on the longer side but not unreasonable for high quality output.
Longer than I wanted to wait but the result is hard to argue with. Every security feature checks out. UV is clean, barcode encodes correctly, material has the right rigidity. Worth the patience.
