Vendor FAQ actually answered most of my questions

Yeah man, I totally feel you on the overthinking. I spent a solid two weeks reading every thread, comparing notes, and second-guessing myself before I even placed my first order. Then I actually sat down and read through their FAQ page from top to bottom, and it was like a light bulb went off. So much of what people ask repeatedly in this sub is literally right there in black and white. I wish I had started there instead of driving myself crazy with research.

For anyone curious about the full ordering experience, here's how my order went down. I placed the order on a Monday afternoon. Got the payment confirmation email within about 2 hours. Status went to "Processing" and stayed there for 4 days. On Friday it switched to "Shipped" and I received a tracking number. Shipping took about 6 business days from the east coast to a non-address PO box in the Midwest. Total timeline from order placement to mailbox pickup was exactly 12 days. Not the fastest I've seen around here, but within the window their FAQ stated for my region.

Packaging stealth was solid. Outer envelope was a standard bubble mailer with a generic return address - just a name and a residential street in a different state. No logos, no weird postmarks, no anything that would catch a carrier's eye. Inside, the ID was sandwiched between two pieces of thin cardboard and wrapped in a small black anti-static bag. The bag was then taped inside a folded sheet of printer paper. No vacuum seal, no mylar, nothing overkill - just enough to prevent bending and keep it discreet. If someone opened it accidentally, they'd see what looks like a piece of junk mail with a cardboard insert. Actually did a good job blending in with normal Amazon packages I get.

Communication wise, I messaged them once to confirm a state-specific detail before ordering. Got a reply within 6 hours, which I thought was pretty decent. The response was concise and directly addressed my question - no copy-paste nonsense. They pointed me back to the FAQ section on accepted states, which I'd somehow missed. That one sentence saved me from ordering something that wouldn't work for my state. After that, I didn't need to message them again because all my other questions were covered in the FAQ.

Value for money rating: I'd give it a solid 4 out of 5. The price (not gonna say exact figures, but mid-range compared to what I've seen listed) felt appropriate for the quality. The ID itself has good microprinting, passable holograms, and the raised text is actually raised not just printed. Colors match my state's real IDs I've seen online. Composite and signature are decent - not perfect, but passable for casual glances. Downside is the thickness is slightly off - maybe a few thousandths of an inch thicker than a real one. Not a dealbreaker but noticeable if you handle it.

Pros: FAQ is comprehensive and honest about limitations. No bullshit turnaround estimates. They clearly list which states they can and cannot do. Reship policy is straightforward - if it gets seized or has a major defect, you get one free reship within a certain window. Payments were easy with the options listed. Microtext and UV elements look solid on mine.
Cons: Thickness issue I mentioned - not a killer but worth knowing. Shipping took longer than some other vendors I've seen reviewed here, though it was within their stated window. Their FAQ explicitly says they won't do instant response messages, so don't expect chat support. The order process felt a bit impersonal - fully automated after payment - which is fine but some people prefer more handholding. Also, they only accept certain states, so if yours isn't listed, don't bother asking - the FAQ makes that clear.

Honestly, reading the FAQ first would have saved me hours of browsing this sub. It covers turnaround times, payment methods, accepted states, reship policy, and even common defects they acknowledge. Most of the "does this vendor do X" threads could be answered by a five-minute read. So yeah, do yourself a favor and read it before hitting that message button. Your sanity will thank you.

Same here. I used to skip straight to messaging vendors and honestly felt dumb when the answer was right in front of me. Now I always skim the FAQ first, especially about turnaround time and stealth packaging stuff. Saves everyone hassle and honestly shows you're a serious buyer, which usually means better customer service responsiveness down the line. Plus if the vendor took the time to write it out, that's a good sign for the overall order process. Definitely pulled the trigger on a few orders because the FAQ made me confident enough.

Yeah, seriously underrated. Honestly, I've skipped the FAQ before and ended up asking something that was literally right there. Saves everyone time if you just glance through it first—most of the common stuff is covered.

Yeah, good reminder. I've definitely been guilty of jumping straight to messaging the vendor before checking the FAQ or searching here. Following that order saves everyone time—the FAQ covers the basics, then the forum gives you real user feedback. The vendor honestly should be the last stop for specifics.

Yeah, exactly. Honestly, I've seen vendors post the same answers over and over. Reading the FAQ first saved me from being that guy asking stuff they've answered like a hundred times. Makes the whole process smoother for everyone.
