Vendor included free duplicate without asking

Opened my package and there were two identical pieces inside. No explanation, no charge. I assume it was a bonus for being a returning customer. Unexpected but appreciated.

Loyalty bonuses like this keep customers coming back. Smart business.

Free backup piece is genuinely useful. Good vendor move.

Yeah, tbh it was a nice surprise when I opened the pack. I've been ordering from this particular vendor for maybe half a year now—they're not one of the big names you see advertised everywhere, but they've got a pretty solid track record on the smaller forums. I thought I'd drop my full experience here since people always ask about the little details that make or break a vendor.

Ordering Timeline: So, I put the order in on a Wednesday night, like around 11 PM Eastern. Payment confirmation landed in my inbox within 20 minutes—always a good sign. Status moved to "processing" the next morning and then to "shipped" on Friday afternoon. So production took roughly 2 business days, not bad. The tracking started moving Saturday. Total transit time was 9 days via standard international mail, which put the whole thing at 12 days from order to doorstep. That's pretty typical for this price bracket—nothing lightning fast but also not painfully slow. Honestly, about what I expected.

Packaging & Stealth: So, the outer packaging was a discreet gray bubble mailer with a handwritten return address from a random state. No logos or anything suspicious. Inside there was a folded greeting card—looked like a generic birthday card, you know?—and the IDs were tucked inside a slit in the cardstock lining. They also included a thin piece of plastic to keep the IDs from bending. When you held the envelope, it just felt like a card with a bit of bulk. No crinkling or obvious rectangle outlines. The free duplicate was wrapped separately in a tiny piece of tissue, also inside the card. I'd give the domestic stealth a solid 9/10—even if someone opened it, they'd probably just see a card and ignore the rest.

Communication: I didn't message them during the order because everything went smoothly. But I did send a quick email afterward asking about their minimum order quantity for the free duplicate thing. It took about 36 hours to get a reply, which is a bit slower than I'd like. The answer was polite but vague—just said "it depends on the order" and didn't elaborate. On previous orders, I've had responses come within a day, so it's hit or miss. They do send automated tracking updates, and the tracking was consistent until it hit customs and then went dark for three days (which is normal for international, not really their fault). So yeah, I'd give communication a 7/10—okay, but room for improvement.

VFM (Value for Money): Honestly, for what I paid, the quality is genuinely good. The holograms have nice depth, the microprint is crisp under a loupe, and the UV matches my reference perfectly. The free duplicate effectively halves the cost per ID, so the VFM jumps to excellent—easily a 9/10 with that bonus. Without it, I'd still say 8/10 compared to other mid-tier vendors I've tried. They're not the cheapest, but you're not getting cheap-looking IDs either.

Pros: Free duplicate without asking—major brownie points, honestly. Shows they value repeat customers and it's a nice safety net if you lose one or it gets confiscated. The IDs themselves have accurate color matching and good lamination—no peeling after a few weeks of casual use, which is nice. The decoy packaging is clever, and they don't require a signature on delivery.

Cons: Honestly, the communication lag can be annoying if you need something urgent. They only offer standard templates—no custom artwork or overprint options. Also, the free duplicate thing seems inconsistent—I'm not sure if it's based on order size or just random luck. The tracking going dark in customs is nerve-wracking, though it always comes through eventually. And they use a standard envelope, not a box, so if you're ordering more than two IDs, they might come slightly scuffed (mine were fine, but YMMV).

Overall, I'm happy. The free duplicate came out of nowhere and definitely makes
