From the tracking, it looked like the vendor used USPS Priority Mail this time — at least that's what the label format and scan pattern suggested. It passed through a couple of major transit hubs: first it hit the regional sort facility in the Midwest, then went through one of the big NYC distribution centers before making it down to my local post office on the east coast. That NYC hub can be a real bottleneck sometimes, but this time it only sat there for like a day and a half before moving along.

Packaging was pretty standard — just a plain bubble mailer, nothing flashy. The outer layer was a poly bag with a few layers of tape on the seams, and inside the ID was wrapped in a piece of thin foam and then tucked into a small plastic sleeve. No damage at all when it arrived, although the mailer itself was kind of beat up from being shoved into a tight mailbox. I honestly wouldn't worry about durability as long as you're not ordering anything super fragile; the padding seemed adequate for a single card.

Customs was basically a non-issue on this one. Since it was domestic shipping within the US, there wasn't any international customs clearance to slow things down. If you're ordering from an overseas vendor, you might add another 3–7 days for customs inspection depending on the port of entry, but for domestic transit you're just dealing with standard USPS processing times.

Overall, I'd rate the shipping speed as moderate. 10 days is on the slower end of what I've seen recently — I've had orders show up in as little as 5 days before — but it's still well within the typical window. If you're ordering from this vendor again and need it quicker, you might ask if they offer an upgraded courier option, but for a standard free ship method this felt pretty standard. Just make sure your address is spot on and you're tracking it from the start, because USPS doesn't always scan every single step.
