Yeah, I can confirm this works fine. I've had a few packs sent to my dorm address and never had an issue. Just make sure you use the full address exactly as your school lists it — building name and room number included. Most dorm mailrooms are used to handling student packages, so they'll sort it and send you a pickup notification.

When it comes to courier choice, I've had stuff come through both USPS and UPS. USPS tends to get delivered right to the mailroom without any extra signature requirements — nice for privacy. UPS can sometimes require a signature, so I'd stick with USPS if you have the option. Transit hubs really depend on where the vendor ships from, but for me it usually went through a regional hub then straight to the college's central mail processing before hitting the dorm. No real red flags there.

Packaging-wise, most vendors are pretty good about using nondescript bubble mailers or small boxes. Nothing that screams "this is an ID." Just standard shipping labels. Customs observations — if you're ordering domestically, there's nothing to worry about. International shipments going into a dorm might get held up a bit longer because college mailrooms can be slow to process, but customs itself hasn't been an issue for me as long as the package looks low-key.

Shipping speed is pretty standard. Domestic usually takes a week, maybe ten days depending on where you are. The real delay is often the dorm mailroom itself — they batch process deliveries and only send out pickup notices once or twice a day. So even if the tracking says delivered, you might not get the email until later that afternoon or the next morning. Just be patient and check your school email or mailbox app regularly. I've had no problems with lost packages or nosy staff. Use your full dorm address with room number and you'll be good.
