Just got my order last week and figured I’d throw in my two cents on the shipping and packaging — since that part’s huge for me too. I’m in a similar boat, live with a few roommates, and the last thing I want is someone raising an eyebrow over some random package. The whole thing came as a standard letter envelope, nothing fancy or suspicious. No branding, no weird return addresses, just a plain white poly mailer that could’ve been a credit card offer or some subscription thing. That level of discretion is exactly what keeps this hobby low-risk when you share a mailbox.
As for the courier, they went with USPS First Class, which honestly is the way to go domestically. No signature required, no tracking that screams “priority” — just regular delivery. It moved through the usual sort facilities, hit a major hub in the Midwest, then my local distribution center, and out for delivery the next morning. No weird delays or rerouting that would raise flags. The packaging itself was solid: a sealed poly bag with a thin cardboard insert to prevent bending. I’ve had IDs arrive in nothing but a paper envelope before, and that’s asking for trouble, especially in humid weather. This one held up fine even though my mail carrier tends to shove everything into a tiny box.
Customs wasn’t an issue since it was domestic, but for anyone ordering internationally, I’d ask about double-layer packaging or a decoy letter inside in case it gets opened. I’ve seen too many posts about people losing orders because the outer envelope looked too flimsy. Overall, shipping took about 6 business days from label creation to my doorstep — not lightning fast, but reasonable for the level of stealth. No signature required means I could grab it before my roommates even noticed the mail stack. Vendors that nail this part really deserve the recognition because discreet logistics are half the battle.
