Multiple orders placed - one arrived, one still in transit
Yeah, that tracks with my experience too. I've had one package land in like 8 days and another from the same vendor still stuck in ISC for over two weeks. It's usually just transit hub processing luck or shipping route randomness. I wouldn't worry until it's been sitting without a tracking number update for like 10+ days past the usual window.
Yeah, I've had this happen a few times. It's honestly not uncommon—I had one order show up in like 10 days and another from the same vendor still landed in 18 days with no updates in between. The trick is to just track each tracking number update separately; sometimes one gets stuck in ISC for a few days and the other zooms by. I wouldn't worry until it's been three weeks or so.
Yeah, that's a good call. Honestly, I always try to track the shipping times separately when I have multiple orders going—it helps spot any patterns or delays. Thanks for sharing, that's a useful data point for the rest of us.
Yeah, that's pretty normal honestly. I've had orders from the same vendor show up days apart, sometimes even a week. Tracking's flaky too—one package might show movement while the other just sits there, then bam, it's at your door. Give it a few more days before you start sweating.
Yeah, three weeks in transit honestly isn't that bad. I've had orders take that long before and then they just show up out of the blue. I'd give it another week before you start stressing too much. Customs or just general slowdowns can really stretch things out. Anyway, hopefully the second one lands for you soon.
So I placed two orders about two weeks apart from the same source, and it's been an interesting little case study in how much routing and timing can shake things up even when the origin and destination are identical. My first order shipped within a few days and I got it right on schedule—no surprises there.
That first order travelled via a standard airmail service—looks like it hit the origin country's regional sort center, then moved to their main international airport hub. The tracking showed it landed at ISC New York (the JFK facility) within four days of departure, which felt nice and quick. Customs processing took about two days, no holds or delays—just a standard clearance. After that it moved through the USPS network: Queens NY distribution center, then a regional sort facility, then my local post office. Packaging on that one was solid—triple-wrapped Mylar bag inside a padded bubble mailer, everything sealed tight. The outer packaging showed minor scuffing but no signs of tampering or damage. Door-to-door shipping time was 9 days. For this route and carrier, that's on the faster side of the expected window.
Now for the second order—placed exactly 14 days after the first. It's still showing as "in transit" at week 3, which is why I'm writing this up for comparison. This one took a completely different courier route, I think because it got kicked to a slower service tier depending on when it was processed. The tracking shows it went through a different origin hub and then routed through a Middle Eastern transit point—specifically the Dubai airport facility, which is common for packages moving westward from that region. It sat at that hub for about five days without any movement scans. That's where it is now, still showing "departed" from Dubai but nothing inbound to the US yet.
