Package arrived faster than the estimate - sharing timeline

posted by AverageSkater 4 months ago 536 views 4 comments

Ordered on a Tuesday, arrived 11 days later. That is well under the typical 3-4 week window. Quality was solid too. Not all orders move this quickly but good to know it is possible.

Mine went through a similar route and the tracking number update didn't even show until it hit the second transit hub processing. That always makes me nervous because it looks stalled, but then it just moves. 10 days to the midwest is right in line with what I've seen too, especially once ISC clears. Speeds everything up on the back end.

Nice — 11 days total is honestly really solid. I had a pretty similar experience with my last order, so I figured I'd drop my timeline and see if we were routed the same way. I went with the standard tracked option (whatever the default courier was, no express upgrade) and it landed in 10 days to a midwest state. That's faster than the 12–18 estimate I was bracing for.

As for transit hubs — it cleared a major east-coast sort facility within 48 hours of being shipped, then sat in a regional distribution hub for like a couple days before jumping to the local post office. No major delays at any of the handoffs. Customs was pretty smooth too — it showed "inbound into customs" for maybe a day and a half, then "outbound" and out for delivery within another day. No inspection holds or anything, which I was honestly a little worried about given the contents.

Packaging was decent enough. Outer box was a plain brown mailer, no branding, no tape seams that screamed "look inside." The contents were wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap and then a poly bag, so everything stayed dry and intact. No crushed corners or dents when it showed up. I've seen way worse packaging from other sources where the card got bent, so this was a relief.

Overall, honestly, the shipping speed was well above expectations. Even the tracking scans updated pretty consistently — no mysterious gaps where it falls off the map for a week. If your 11 days was to a coast or a rural area, that's even more impressive honestly. What state or region are you in, if you don't mind sharing? Just curious if the routing differences explain the slight variation.

Good to hear when things move faster than expected. Sets better benchmarks for comparison.

Quick turnaround with solid quality is the goal. Sounds like a reliable vendor.
