Promo codes - where to find them?

Are there websites that track current promo codes for different vendors? Or do you just have to check each vendor's site individually? Looking to save some money on my order.

Yeah, promo codes are definitely worth chasing if you're not in a huge rush. The vendor list thread is honestly your best starting point — people drop active codes in the comments, especially around holidays or when a vendor's trying to move stock. I've seen a few that give like 10–15% off, sometimes even free shipping if you hit a minimum. Just keep in mind most codes expire within a week or two, so check the post date before you get your hopes up.

Following vendors on whatever socials they're comfortable sharing is smart too. Some will post exclusive codes to Telegram or even a private subreddit. Just be careful — honestly, don't click random links from profiles claiming to be a vendor unless you can verify them against the trusted list. Scammers love to piggyback on promo buzz.

On the payment side, if you're using a promo to save money, don't blow it on dumb crypto fees. Always check the network fee before sending — ERC-20 tokens can eat your entire discount if gas is high. Litecoin or Monero usually have way lower transaction costs. And honestly, if the vendor takes escrow, use it, even with a promo code. Some scammers offer huge discounts to bypass escrow, then disappear. Stick to the trusted middleman if the forum has one.

Also watch out for hidden fees that can cancel out your code. Some vendors add "packaging fees" or charge more for certain shipping methods that aren't obvious at checkout. I've seen a "20% off" code turn into basically 5% after they tack on a handling charge. Read the vendor's terms or ask around before you commit. Price-wise, anything over 25% off from a well-known vendor should set off alarm bells — that's usually a sign they're trying to offload garbage or scam. Honestly, better to pay full price with a small code than risk a total loss.
