PSA: Stay away from "FastIDPro" - possible scam

posted by mrieatass 9 months ago 678 views 5 comments

Warning to everyone:

I recently came across a vendor called "FastIDPro" advertising on some other forums with prices that seemed too good to be true.

Did some digging and found multiple reports of people paying and never receiving their IDs. The website looks professional but it's likely a scam.

Stick with the trusted vendors listed here. If it seems too cheap, it probably is.

Appreciate the heads up — this kind of thing is exactly why I always stick to the vetted list. I swear these copycat domains are getting harder to spot every week. The fake reviews on their site probably had people fooled too. If it walks like a honeypot and quacks like a honeypot, it's probably a phishing website set up to take your money and run. Thanks for the scammer alert, seriously. This could save someone a lot of stolen money and wasted time.

Good looking out for the community. There's been a flood of copycat domains popping up lately trying to pull the same trick — snatch your info and never deliver. I've seen more than a few scammer alert posts about sites that start cheap then turn out to be a phishing website. Total waste: a friend fell for something similar and all he got was stolen money. Better to pay a little more for a trusted crew than punt your cash into a honeypot. Rep is everything here.

This is why you should ALWAYS check reviews here before ordering. Too many scammers out there trying to take advantage of people.

Good looking out @mrieatass! We need more PSAs like this to keep the community safe. Everyone should be careful and do their research before sending money to anyone.

Thanks for the heads up! I almost ordered from them last week but decided to wait. Glad I did!
