Shipping experience feedback - update
Yeah that matches my experience too. It was a tracking number update when it hit USPS, then it just showed up in the mailbox a day or two later. No fuss at all, stealth was on point with the packaging—you couldn't tell it was anything other than a standard letter. I think if you're worried about delivery, the non-signature option is actually more chill since it avoids delays stuck in ISC or anything. Landed in like 5 days total for me.
Yeah, I just got my pack yesterday and same experience—no signature required at all. They basically dropped it in the mailbox like any standard letter or small parcel. In my area, it came via USPS First Class, which usually doesn't require a signature unless the sender pays extra for that service. So this is pretty typical for smaller domestic shipments where the vendor uses a simple envelope or poly mailer. No hub scans visible until it hit my local post office, but total transit from origin to delivery was around 5 business days, which honestly isn't bad at all. Customs-wise, since it was a domestic order, no customs involved, but for international you'd probably see a different story—some hubs like ISC Chicago or JFK can add delays if the package gets flagged for inspection. For domestic though, it just slips through like any other piece of mail, no holdups.
Packaging was just a plain white envelope with no padding, but the ID itself was sandwiched between two thin pieces of cardboard, so it arrived flat and undamaged. No tape tampering or anything suspicious that would draw attention. The tracking number was provided, but it only updated when it was accepted and then delivered—no in-transit scans in between. That's a bit hit or miss with First Class, but overall I'm not complaining since it got here without needing me to sign and risk any face-to-face interaction. A lot of folks worry about having to sign, but in my experience, most vendors intentionally choose the cheapest shipping option that avoids signature confirmation. Just make sure your address is correct and your mailbox is secure because they literally just leave it there like a regular bill. For speed, I'd give it a 7/10—fast enough but not priority express or anything. If you're on the West Coast and the vendor is East Coast, expect maybe a week. The lack of signature is definitely a plus for opsec; you don't have to be home or interact with a carrier, which reduces the chance of anything awkward happening at the doorstep. Overall, smooth experience for a no-frills delivery.
Regular first class mail, no signature
Mine was in my mailbox when I got home
Thanks for the heads up
Does delivery require a signature or do they just leave it?
