Shipping update northeast - update
Mine was in my mailbox when I got home
I just wanted to drop a quick shipping update for those of us in the northeast. I went with regular USPS First Class Mail — no signature required, so it just gets dropped in the mailbox. Since I'm domestic, there's no customs to worry about, which honestly simplifies things. The package moved through a few regional hubs: it left the origin facility, hit a major sorting center down south, went through the Northeastern distribution hub, and then arrived at my local post office. Each scan was pretty standard, nothing unusual.
As for packaging, it came in a plain bubble-lined poly mailer — discreet, no logos or anything that'd draw attention. The envelope was taped securely, and nothing was rattling around inside. For domestic First Class, tracking's included automatically even without signature confirmation, so I could follow every step. Transit time was about 3 business days from drop-off to delivery, which is honestly on the faster end of the usual 2–5 day window for this class.
Overall, for a domestic order in the northeast, First Class Mail's a solid choice. No delays, no customs hassle, and the packaging held up fine. If you're in a rush or want that extra peace of mind, you might spring for Priority, but for a standard re-up this was more than enough.
Does delivery require a signature or do they just leave it?
