Does delivery require a signature or do they just leave it?

Just to follow up on my old post about the signature question — yeah, it went out regular first class mail with no signature required. Nothing fancy, just dropped it in the standard postal stream. The courier was just whatever the national carrier uses for basic letters and small parcels, so like USPS First-Class or the equivalent in your country. No tracking besides the usual delivery confirmation if you pay a little extra, but honestly for this kind of thing that's often enough.

As for transit hubs, it hit the usual regional sorting centers along the way. Depending on the distance it might pass through one or two major distribution points before reaching the local post office. I didn't see any weird delays at the hubs — standard processing times, nothing held up for days. Packaging was just a plain bubble mailer, nothing special. It held up fine through the machines, no tears or crushed corners. If you're shipping something flimsy I'd add a bit more padding, but for a standard card or small document this was fine.

Customs — honestly, if you're crossing borders, first class mail usually gets a lighter touch than priority or express. No extra forms to fill, it just slips through. I didn't have any hold-ups on this one, but your mileage might vary depending on the origin and destination countries. Overall the shipping speed was pretty much what you'd expect: 3-5 business days domestic, maybe a week or so international. Not the fastest, but reliable and cheap. No signature, no stress. If you're not in a rush and you trust the recipient's mailbox, this is honestly the way to go.
