Tracking hasn't updated in 6 days

Yeah, I totally get it—seeing "label created" for 6 days straight is frustrating, especially when you're already 12 days in. I've been through this myself a few times, so here's what's probably happening behind the scenes.

Honestly, the courier choice matters a lot. If your vendor used something like China Post or a similar economy service, those tracking numbers often get created days before the package actually leaves their facility. That "label created" status usually just means the shipping label was generated and the courier received the electronic info—the physical handoff hasn't happened yet. Some vendors batch their runs and only drop shipments off twice a week, so it could be sitting in a pile waiting to go. If they used a faster courier like DHL or UPS, you'd normally see a scan within 24-48 hours. So the fact it's been stuck this long? That suggests it's one of the slower options.

With economy services out of China, the first real scan often happens at the regional sort center—like Guangzhou or Shenzhen—or after it clears export customs. But if it's still "label created," it hasn't even reached that hub yet. It's still at the vendor's origin facility, or just sitting there. Packaging durability is usually fine—they tend to use thick cardboard or padded envelopes—but honestly, the delay has nothing to do with how well it's packed at this stage.

Tbh, you probably won't see a customs entry until it arrives in your country, which is still way down the line. So don't worry about seizure or anything yet—this is almost certainly a pre-shipment lag.

So 12 days total with only 4 days of tracked movement—actually no movement at all—is below average for most services. I'd say it's a bit early to panic, but definitely worth keeping an eye on. If you don't see a scan within another 3-4 days, it might be time to contact the vendor and ask if they actually handed it over. Some vendors are slow to ship, and the tracking number is just a placeholder—they might be behind on orders. Hope it updates soon.

Pretty normal honestly. Mine sat like that for 8 days then randomly showed up. The tracking often doesn't update properly.

If you're past 3 weeks then maybe reach out to vendor. But at 12 days I wouldn't stress yet.

The tracking is always sketchy. Mine never updated and just appeared in my mailbox after 16 days.
