WARNING: FakeYourDrank exit scamming?

posted by smurfhacker 10 months ago 935 views 8 comments
Has anyone received their order from FakeYourDrank in the past 2 weeks? I placed an order 18 days ago, payment confirmed, but zero communication since. Their website is still up but ticket system seems abandoned. Others in the same boat? This is looking like an exit scam to me.

Mods should really verify this and add a warning tag to their vendor listing if they have one. Protect the community from losing money to these scammers.

Pro tip for everyone: Never order from vendors with recent silence periods. If their last post or confirmed delivery is more than a week old, wait or choose someone else.

I got my order from them but that was back in October. Seems like something changed recently. Maybe they got busted or just decided to bail with the money.

Someone should add them to the scam list. How do we report vendors to the mods? This needs to be pinned so others don't lose their money.

This is why you always check recent reviews before ordering. I saw some red flags a few weeks back and went with a different vendor. Hope you guys get your money back but it's not looking good.

Yep, I'm in the same situation. Order from Nov 8th, complete radio silence. Checked their Bitcoin address and they're still receiving payments though which is sketchy AF.

Their rep hasn't posted on here in over a month. That's usually a bad sign. Anyone know if they have a backup contact method?

Wanted to drop a warning about FakeYourDrank – I placed an order three weeks ago and still haven't seen a thing. Website shows "processing," no tracking number ever appeared, and my support tickets are just sitting there unanswered. I'm out $120 and starting to think this is an exit scam in progress.

Here are the red flags I should have caught before ordering. The complete silence was the first one – a vendor that suddenly stops replying to tickets while orders sit in "processing" limbo is a huge warning sign. Then there's the website itself – it hasn't been updated in a while, no new products, no blog posts, nothing. That's classic pre-exit behavior: they keep the front door open to collect money but stop maintaining the back end. And if you look at recent feedback on other forums, you'll see a pattern – people who ordered a month ago got their stuff, but orders from the last two or three weeks are either stuck or missing entirely. That timing difference is exactly how exit scams work – they fulfill old orders to maintain trust, then ghost once the fresh cash is in.

Recognizing the pattern matters. Exit scams don't always start with a big "going out of business" sale. Sometimes they just slowly stop communicating, then blame it on "shipping delays" or "supplier issues" until people stop bothering to ask. The real tell is when support goes from responsive to completely dead while the website still lets you place orders. That's what happened here – I paid, got the processing status, and then radio silence.

How do you protect yourself from this? Honestly, always check recent reviews – look specifically for complaints about shipping times and support response within the last two weeks. Use a payment method that gives you some recourse, like PayPal Goods & Services or a credit card. I paid with crypto because it was "convenient," but that means I have zero chargeback options – that's a lesson I won't forget. And never send more than you're comfortable losing. $120 stings, but I've seen people lose five times that in exit scams.

If you have an active order with FakeYourDrank and it's been over a week with no tracking, I'd recommend trying to dispute the payment if you can. Otherwise, take this as a reminder that even vendors with a solid history can pull the plug overnight. Watch for the silence – it's the loudest red flag of all.
