Florida 2024 template - UV feature comparison
Just got my Florida ID from a vendor (won't name yet until I test it more) and wanted to share some observations about the new 2024 template.
The front looks almost perfect - the gold state seal is crisp, the ghost image is properly aligned, and the micro-printing along the edges is surprisingly good. The lamination feels right, not too thick or thin.
However, under UV light I noticed a few things:
- The palm tree watermark shows up but seems slightly dimmer than on my friend's real FL license
- The "FLORIDA" UV text along the top is there and looks good
- The birth date that should glow is a tiny bit off in color (more greenish than blue)
Overall I'd rate it 8.5/10. For the price point it's definitely worth it. Has anyone else received a recent FL ID? Curious if these UV variations are batch-specific or consistent across vendors.

FL 2024 has UV on both sides. Front shows the flamingo and state outline, back has 'FLORIDA' text and some palm trees. Should be bright and clear.

Florida's UV is pretty detailed. Make sure your vendor has the updated 2024 template with all the correct UV features. Some vendors still use old templates.
