Minnesota - great for upper midwest use

I've been running with this MN prop for a while now, mostly around the Twin Cities, and it's been rock solid in every test I've thrown at it. The template is dead on – the spacing, fonts, and overall layout match up perfectly with a genuine Minnesota license, and the barcode encodes correctly every single time, which is honestly the most important thing if you're hitting places that scan. The laser-perforated details are a nice touch that a few of the higher-end bars and clubs in Uptown and Dinkytown actually check for, and mine passes that test without any issues. I've handed it over at liquor stores, convenience shops, and even at a few suburban spots, and nobody has given it a second look.

Let me break down the finer details that really matter for a state-level review. First up, microprint accuracy – on the real MN, you'll find minuscule text around the state seal and the edge of

I've been actual size on this for a minute. The templates are solid, and I think the microprinting clarity on the newer ones is what really sells it – a lot of people overlook that detail. My buddy's held up fine here in the Cities, even passed the bend test no problem. The material thickness and tactile feel are spot-on for OTC if you ask me. Definitely underrated compared to the usual WI hype.

Yeah, I've been saying this for a while honestly. MN gets overlooked 'cause everyone goes for IL or WI, but it's actually a solid choice for the region. The templates are usually pretty good, and it's not as heavily scrutinized. Nice to see someone pointing that out.

Nice, glad that worked out. I've had kind of mixed luck with venues in the Twin Cities – some are really sharp, others not so much. It's always good to hear a positive report from there, especially for upper Midwest use. I might have to give it a shot myself.

Yeah, that's a huge one. Honestly, I've seen so many otherwise decent IDs get called out just because the laser perforation is missing or looks like a cheap sticker. It's one of those little details you don't even think about until someone actually checks it. Definitely worth double-checking before you try using it anywhere that's even half-legit.
