Missouri - would recommend - thoughts?
Just got this Missouri and honestly, it's super clean. I was a little skeptical at first, but after having it in hand for a few days I can honestly say it's one of the better state IDs I've come across. Feels legit right out of the package — nice weight, and the card stock has that slightly rigid but flexible feel you get with a real one. Bends without cracking or leaving those crease marks, always a good sign for durability.
Looking closer at the details, the microprint is on point. I checked the small text around the state seal and the border lines under a loupe — it's crisp, no blurring or smudging. The spacing is consistent, which a lot of fakes mess up. UV response is solid too — hits the typical Missouri pattern with a bright, even glow. The blue is right, not too dim and not that cheap neon look. Doesn't wash out under blacklight, stays sharp.
The OVI color shift is smooth. When you tilt the card back and forth, it transitions nicely between gold and green, just like the real deal. No patchiness or dead spots. The card material overall has that laminated polycarbonate feel, a bit of snap but still flexible enough to pass the bend test. Edges are sealed tight, no peeling or rough spots. The raised text for the DOB also has a good tactile depth — not flat or overdone.
Overall I'd give this Missouri a solid 9/10. The only tiny nitpick is maybe the lamination could be a hair thicker, but that's splitting hairs. Definitely worth grabbing if you need a MO. Would recommend.
Compared it to a real one, honestly couldnt tell the difference
Been using mine for 4 months, still in perfect condition
How is the PA polycarbonate material? I know its different from the PVC states
