Pennsylvania vs New Jersey - which is easier to use out of state?

I'm trying to decide between getting a PA or NJ fake ID from the vendors here. I don't actually live in either state - I'm in the midwest but I want an east coast ID because it seems less suspicious than getting an ID from a state I don't live in. From what I've read on the reviews: **Pennsylvania:** - Simpler design, easier to replicate - More vendors offer it on our vendor list - Keystone hologram is supposedly hard to fake well **New Jersey:** - More complex design with better security features - Fewer vendors make it (and ones that do charge more) - Might look more "legit" because of the complexity? I'll mainly be using it at bars, clubs, liquor stores in college towns. Not trying to use it for anything too serious. Which would you recommend for out-of-state use? Does one have a reputation for being more accepted than the other? Also open to other east coast state suggestions if there's something better than these two. Check our help center for state selection tips.

I'd go with Pennsylvania personally. Here's why: 1. Since more vendors on our directory make PA, you have more options and can find better quality for cheaper 2. The simpler design means less chance of vendors screwing up details 3. It's a super common state for people to be from, so it doesn't raise suspicions 4. Most bouncers/cashiers aren't from PA, so they won't know all the tiny details to look for NJ is fine too but you're paying a premium for "complexity" that doesn't necessarily make it work better in practice. A well-made PA ID from a trusted vendor will work just as well as a well-made NJ ID for your purposes. Just make sure you get PA from a vendor with good reviews who nails the keystone hologram.

Honestly? Yeah, totally check out the vendor review section. I mean, there's a ton of threads about PA vendors, tbh. And some of those reviews? Like, honestly, they're pretty detailed. Not gonna name specific ones here — that'd make me look like a shill, y'know?

But honestly, PA's a pretty solid choice. I've had one for over six months now, and it's given me pretty much zero issues. Just make sure you've got a cover story ready, y'know? Like, why you moved to the Midwest — school, job, family, whatever — in case someone asks why you've got an East Coast ID.

Oh, and while you're at it, definitely check out our guidelines — they've got some tips on, like, using out-of-state IDs successfully.

Honestly, I've used both PA and NJ from different vendors on our verified list, and they both work just fine, tbh. Never had any issues — like, at college bars or anything, you know?

I mean, I guess one advantage with NJ is it's kinda a smaller state — so there's less chance of running into someone actually from there who might start asking questions. With PA being bigger, well, more people are from there or have at least been there, you know?

But like, honestly, we're probably just overthinking it. Either one's fine. Just go read the reviews for both states.

Good points. I'm leaning toward PA based on the better vendor selection and price on the vendor list. Are there any specific PA vendors people would recommend? Or should I make a separate thread for that? Also going to check if there are any active coupons available.
