FakeYourDrank has been putting out Tennessee cards for a while now, and I finally got mine after about three weeks. Wanted to post some notes since I hadn't seen much forum discussion on their TN template specifically.
The card front runs a blue-to-teal gradient in the header area, which matches real TN licenses pretty closely. FYD's color transition holds up — on cheaper vendors I've seen this come out flat or slightly purple-shifted, but FYD's sample compared well side by side with a genuine Tennessee card.
The photo area is clean. My headshot came out properly sized and centered, and the laminate over the photo doesn't cause distortion or bubbling. One thing I always check: the ghost image printed in the lower-right corner. On real TN cards it's a faint second portrait at roughly 30% opacity. FYD's ghost print came out a bit too dark — closer to 45–50% opacity rather than the expected subtle fade, which looked slightly off in bright lighting.
Tennessee uses laser perforations to spell out TN diagonally across the card face. Under a direct light source those tiny holes become visible, and FYD reproduced the pattern well. Perforation spacing looked consistent and the diagonal alignment was correct.
Magnetic stripe swiped fine at the locations I tested. The PDF417 barcode on the back encoded the correct field data — DOB, address, and the DD field all matched what I submitted. A quick scan with an ID verification app parsed without errors.
The back of the card has the organ donor text, the bike lane icon, and the standard Tennessee vehicle code reference. Alignment looked accurate and card thickness felt like standard CR80 stock.
One thing that surprised me: the UV layer. Under a 365nm blacklight, FYD's Tennessee card showed the state outline and some text elements that should appear under UV. These were present and reasonably bright, though the state outline was slightly thinner than on the authentic I was comparing against.
Overall FakeYourDrank's Tennessee template is solid. The ghost image opacity is a minor point, but the scan performance and UV layer both held up. Would order again for TN specifically.
