Yeah, I've been messing with this Colorado template for a bit now, and honestly it's one of the better ones I've come across. The material feel is spot on – it's got that slight matte finish the real CO IDs have, and the flexibility is perfect. It bends without cracking, pretty much like the real thing, and snaps back into shape without leaving any crease marks. No weird shiny spots or tacky texture either.

I took a loupe to the microprint – the fine line details around the state seal and the “Colorado” header are clean and crisp. The tiny text in the background pattern is readable under magnification, no blurring or bleeding. That's always a dealbreaker for me, and this one passed that test easily.

Under UV light, the state outline and the “Colorado” text light up in a nice bright blue – not too harsh, not too dim. The brightness matches what you'd expect from a real CO ID. The UV overlay on the portrait area is subtle but present, which is how it should be. No ghosting or weird hot spots. The color is a consistent blue, not fading into green or purple like some cheaper templates do.

The OVI (the color-shifting ink) on the state outline changes from copper to green depending on the angle. The shift is smooth and even across the whole line – no patchy spots where it sticks on one color. The green is a bit deeper than the real thing on some angles, but honestly it's close enough that you'd need a genuine reference to catch it. The holographic overlay on the back has good depth and movement, though the pattern could be a tad sharper – still, it's way better than most alternatives out there.

Overall, tbh I'd give this Colorado template a solid 9 out of 10. The small stuff like microprint clarity and UV response are top-tier, and the material feel is what really sells it. The only reason it's not a perfect 10 is the OVI color shift being slightly off on one angle, and maybe the holos could be a touch brighter. But for everyday carry, it's absolutely passable. If you're on the fence, go for it.
