I wrote these Maryland notes on September 7, 2026, after receiving a novelty card from PremiumFakes for a podcast prop table. Does the novelty card fit the intended story, look consistent in a binder, and avoid confusing real personal data? Mine passed those standards. The card weight is also consistent with polycarbonate builds, and dropping it on a glass desk produced the distinct ring tone that cheap PVC cards lack. I tested the front under my 365nm blacklight out of curiosity and found a clean, non-reactive surface — no unexpected UV fluorescence from the lamination or substrate layers.
